GIRLHOUSE
Confessions of a girl saboteur

About Girlhouse
Welcome to the digital diary of a girl nestled someplace between the gaps of her childhood bunkbed and the lyrics of an unreleased Lana Del Rey song.
I'm Angelina, and writing is my life. This blog is part journal, part scrapbook, part slow motion car crash to a Sofia Coppola soundtrack. Expect lipstick-stained essays on the divine feminine and girlhood rot, poetry written during early morning train rides, unsolicited movie reviews and my indefinite antique finds. I talk about growing up as a girl, social satire, old Hollywood starlets, the vintage Americana, and everything beautiful and grotesque.
This is not a how-to-guide or a self-help, but self-documentation.
Blog posts
"I was always an unusual girl, my mother told me that I had a chameleon soul. No moral compass pointing me due north, no fixed personality. Just an inner indecisiveness that was as wide as wavering as the ocean... I [had] a fire for every experience and an obsession for freedom that terrified me... both dazzled and dizzied me."
